SUMMARY Responsible for overseeing day to day workflow efficiency of the Bentonville Adult Recreation Center Wellness Area.  Tasks include greeting guests, offering guest assistance, teaching members how to use the apparatus, maintaining fitness equipment, enforcing safety rules and policies, and light housekeeping to ensure members enjoy a clean and safe fitness environment.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Greet patrons and answer questions about the facility.  * Ensure fitness floor, track and studio areas are tidy. * Ensure fitness class sign in sheets and fitness classes are running smoothly. * Loaning and recovering fitness area supplies to members. * Providing tours for prospective members. * Maintaining fitness equipment.  * Organize fitness floor closets and equipment. * Setup pickleball and other sports equipment at the designated times. * Report incidents and accidents on the fitness floor. * Light housekeeping includes vacuuming, wiping equipment, and folding towels. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. We appreciate practical skills and relevant experience with at least 1 year of experience. 1 year of experience serving older adults is preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.   MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics and the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Must also have the ability to perform basic budget management.   REASONING ABILITY solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.   CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS  the ability to become certified in CPR and First Aide and must pass a background security chec PHYSICAL DEMANDS  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
