The Career Coach supports students in exploring, planning, and preparing for post-secondary education and career pathways. About the Opportunity:  Key Responsibilities:  * Provide individualized and group career coaching to students, including career exploration, goal setting, and planning.   * Assist students in developing career readiness skills such as resume writing, interviewing, and professional communication.   * Support students in identifying post-secondary options, including college, trade schools, certifications, apprenticeships, and employment.   * Collaborate with school staff to integrate career readiness into the curriculum and student support services.   * Organize and facilitate career-related events such as job fairs, college visits, guest speakers, and workshops.   * Maintain partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and higher education institutions to expand student opportunities.   * Track student progress and maintain accurate records of services provided.   * Assist students with applications for college, financial aid, scholarships, and employment opportunities.   * Provide labor market information and career pathway guidance aligned with regional workforce needs.   * Support compliance with grant requirements, including documentation and reporting.   About You:  Education  * Bachelor’s degree required in education, counseling, human services, workforce development, or a related field.   * Master’s degree preferred.   Experience  * Minimum of 2–3 years of experience working with youth, students, or in career counseling, workforce development, or education settings.   * Experience in college and career readiness programming preferred.   Skills and Competencies  * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.   * Knowledge of career pathways, labor market trends, and post-secondary education options.   * Ability to build relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners.   * Organizational and data-tracking skills.   * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a school environment.Top of Form  About Us “We believe that every child should be able to be anything they want in life, regardless of their birthplace and circumstances.” – Ron Packard, CEO & Founder ACCEL Schools is a network of 80+ high-performing, public charter schools serving PK-12 students.
