CetraRuddy is seeking an Experienced Project Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead, along with a Project Manager and under the direction of a Principal, a diverse array of cultural, institutional, and residential projects, demonstrating a strong understanding of the various phases of the design process. You will work directly with clients, overseeing your team's success by managing daily tasks and workflow. Additionally, you will gain in-depth exposure to project budgets, fees, schedules, and staffing, ensuring successful project completion. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals across a comprehensive range of architectural practices.  Design & production work will be developed exclusively in Revit. If you are not already proficient in working in Revit, you will need to be eager to learn and quick to adapt. Additionally, you will be expected to be proficient in Enscape, Bluebeam, InDesign, and Photoshop. It is critical that you are comfortable learning new tools and eager to use them efficiently. This role will be active throughout all phases of design projects, and the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manipulate conceptual ideas and develop them through design into technical solutions. You must have strong curiosity and ambition, show initiative, and demonstrate a desire to learn about and share your knowledge of building systems, materials, and technologies, as well as codes and standards. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, be detail-oriented, and be organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Responsibilities * Work directly with the Principal in charge, providing guidance and insight while overseeing your team’s workflow and success.  * Lead project design and development, including preparation of drawings, specifications, and presentations.  * Assist in managing projects through all phases, from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.  * Participate in the development of the project schedule, scope, budget, staffing planning, and construction planning. Responsible for the effective management of change orders.  * Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and clients to align strategies and objectives.  * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing guidance, and ensuring seamless workflow.  * Oversee project staffing, fee management, and scheduling while fostering team cohesion and efficiency.  * Review and assemble comprehensive drawing sets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to codes.  * Produce complete and detailed sets of architectural drawings independently.  * Conduct site visits to evaluate project progress, resolve issues, and ensure design intent is met.  * Apply expert knowledge of commonly used architectural concepts, practices, codes, and procedures to the scope of work.  Required Skills & Experience * Professional Architecture Degree. Master's preferred, but not required. * 12+ years of related experience. * Licensure is preferred. If not licensed, must be actively pursuing or on a defined path toward licensure. * Demonstrated strength of technical knowledge & design sensibility. * Demonstrated knowledge of 3D modeling & BIM documentation tools, including Revit and the Adobe Suite. * Demonstrated knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques. * Demonstrated experience developing CD Sets, including detailing ability and coordination of consultants. * An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in the culture of the studio. Programs & Software * Proficient in Revit * Capability in AutoCAD and Rhino. * Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) * Experience with Bluebeam and Enscape * Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
