Account Director, Corporate (Contract) 5W is seeking a dynamic Account Director for a contract engagement supporting our growing Corporate practice. Here’s what you’ll be doing: * Act as primary contact to clients, continually fostering client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource and counselor to clients. * Overseeing and implementing strategic communications programming * Executive creative campaigns and brand partnerships * Manage and delegate responsibilities of daily workflow of multiple accounts. * Communicate account status to agency management regularly. * Demonstrate proficiency in writing and editing materials particularly presentations, program plans and media strategies. * Provide strategic guidance to clients and team members on an ongoing basis; anticipate and address clients’ needs. * Troubleshoot media, team, or strategy problems as they arise; seek senior management input when appropriate. * Motivate team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback. * Strive to develop the best communication and presentation skills possible to effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues and others. * Conduct and lead monthly conference calls and meetings with clients * Provide guidance and leadership to team members on effective pitching, team issues, account workflow and general account issues. * Participate in the development of materials for new business opportunities including timelines, proposals, business decks and case studies; assist in generating new business leads. * Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients. * Misc. research, duties and projects as required. Here’s what you have: * S/B.A in Public Relations or related field * At least 6 years of PR agency experience, specifically working with corporate clients * Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills * Strong leadership and motivation skills * Proven client relations, management and supervisory skills * Creative and energetic personality
