BuyQ is a group purchasing organization (GPO) built specifically for charter and private schools and is a CoreTrust company. We help school leaders save time and money by providing compliant, pre‑negotiated supplier contracts and hands‑on support. BuyQ combines deep education expertise with the scale and resources of CoreTrust.  Reporting to the President of BuyQ, the Account Executive is responsible for retaining and growing contract revenue across an assigned portfolio of charter management organizations, private school networks, and individual school operators.  This role serves as the primary account owner for a defined book of members and prospects within the education sector. The Account Executive drives the full sales cycle—from prospecting and opportunity development through deal execution and expansion—while delivering a strong member experience.  Success in this role requires building trusted relationships with school leadership and operational decision-makers, including finance, procurement, operations, and administrative teams.  RESPONSIBILITIES * Own a book of business, driving both retention and revenue growth across assigned members and prospects  * Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, in partnership with SDRs and marketing efforts  * Develop and execute account strategies to expand contract adoption and supplier engagement  * Lead the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution positioning, financial value articulation, and negotiation  * Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and maintain an accurate forecast  * Build relationships with school leaders and become a trusted advisor on cost savings and procurement efficiency  * Conduct regular account reviews to drive engagement, utilization, and long-term value  * Partner with Member Success and cross-functional teams to ensure strong onboarding and ongoing member experience  * Maintain accurate pipeline and account activity in Salesforce  * Represent BuyQ in member interactions, virtual meetings, and industry events as needed  QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required  * 3+ years of experience in a B2B sales role with demonstrated success in closing  * Experience managing a book of business (retention + expansion) preferred  * Strong ability to present value-based business cases to decision-makers  * Solid financial acumen, including ability to articulate cost savings and ROI  * Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders  * Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop data-informed account strategies  * Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)  * Experience or interest in education, public sector, or multi-site organizations preferred  BENEFITS * Competitive compensation package  * Free individual employee medical coverage  * Company subsidized dental and vision coverage  * Dollar for dollar 401(k) match up to 6% of your salary with immediate vesting  * Company-paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability coverage  * Employee Assistance Program to support your wellbeing and mental health  * $1500 annual stipend for undergraduate/graduate college courses; $500 annual stipend for continuing education courses/certifications  * Free snacks and beverages on-site * Brand new, state-of-the-art, tech-enabled work environment in downtown Nashville * Flexible/hybrid work culture
