Role Summary The Accounting Manager will own the month-end close and general ledger accounting operations for Alpha Lion. In this role, you will execute close tasks with precision, maintain accurate and well-documented GL records, and continuously improve accounting processes to support a fast-growing business. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across time zones and serve as a key contributor to the Finance team's ability to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting to leadership. Responsibilities * Own and execute month-end close tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, transaction coding, and financial statement preparation * Maintain GL accuracy and ensure all entries are properly supported and audit-ready * Complete recurring weekly accounting tasks such as data sync monitoring, transaction processing, and report maintenance * Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting * Partner with cross-functional teams on ad hoc projects including ERP improvements, data flows, and tax preparation support What Success Looks Like * Month-end close tasks are completed on time with clean reconciliations and minimal rework * GL records are accurate, well-documented, and immediately reviewable * Process improvements are proactively identified and implemented * Internal and external stakeholders receive clear, proactive, and timely communication Who You Are * You take full ownership of your work, meet deadlines consistently, and communicate proactively when issues arise * You track everything, assume nothing, and take pride in documentation that speaks for itself * You are a natural systems thinker who is always looking for ways to streamline and improve * You thrive in a remote, international environment Experience & Skills * 4+ years of accounting experience with direct ownership of month-end close and GL accounting * NetSuite proficiency preferred * Experience with ecommerce or small/medium US companies preferred * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent is a plus * Excellent communication skills in English; comfortable working with global teams across time zones Compensation 2,500~$2,800 USD/month. Offer will reflect experience, skill set, and local market alignment.
