Affirmative Civil Enforcement (ACE) Investigator Employment Type: Full Time, Mid-Level Department: Legal   CGS is seeking an ACE Investigator to join our team supporting the legal mission of a large federal agency in Hammond, IN. Here at CGS, we offer an environment in which our employees feel supported, and we encourage professional growth through various learning opportunities.   Job Duties:    * Independently or with the ACE Coordinator, meets semi-annually with designated agency personnel for the purpose of generating fraud investigations. * Conducts investigations to determine the merits and collection likelihood with respect to any matter or case assigned by the ACE Coordinator. * Performs a variety of ancillary investigations-related services in direct support of any assigned fraud investigation. * Utilizes electronic databases (e.g., CLEAR/Accurint, LexisNexis, PACER, SAM.gov, USASpending.gov) to identify and locate witnesses and subjects, verify corporate structure and ownership, and develop documentary evidence to support investigations. * Prepares interim and final reports on progress of investigations suitable for use by AUSAs in intervention, declination, settlement, and litigation decisions. * Participates in witness interviews jointly with AUSAs or federal agents/investigators and prepares memoranda of interview. * Reviews and analyzes voluminous documentary and electronic records, including claims data, financial records, medical records, and email productions. * Performs damages, loss, and overpayment calculations with factual support. * Coordinates with federal investigative agencies (e.g., HHS-OIG, FBI, DCIS, DEA) and agency program personnel.   Job Requirements: * 5+ years of experience working on fraud investigations or similar experience.  * Ability to pass a background check in order to obtain a security clearance. * Ability work onsite full time.  * Must be a United States Citizen    Our commitment:   Contact Government Services (CGS) strives to simplify and enhance government bureaucracy through the optimization of human, technical, and financial resources.
