Associate Director – Investment Sales Midvale, UT Commercial real estate brokerage isn’t a job—it’s a business you build. You’ll gain exposure to every phase of the transaction while developing the analytical, relationship-building and business development skills necessary to become a successful investment advisor. What You’ll Do As an Associate Director, you’ll become an integral member of an investment sales team by supporting live transactions while developing your own business development skills. Responsibilities include: * Analyze commercial real estate investment opportunities, including financial statements, rent rolls, operating performance and valuation. * Prepare underwriting, offering memorandums, broker opinions of value and client presentations. * Research market fundamentals, comparable transactions, demographic trends and capital markets activity. * Assist in preparing property marketing campaigns and investor outreach strategies. * Participate in property tours, client meetings and presentations. * Build and maintain relationships with owners, investors and industry professionals. * Prospect for new business through research, networking and targeted outreach. * Maintain accurate market intelligence, ownership databases and pipeline reporting. * Collaborate with Mortgage Banking professionals to deliver integrated capital markets solutions. * Support transaction execution from initial engagement through closing. What Makes Someone Successful The strongest candidates are: * Naturally competitive and self-motivated. * Comfortable building relationships and making outbound calls. * Strong analytical thinkers who enjoy finance and problem solving. * Excellent communicators, both written and verbal. * Curious about commercial real estate markets and investment trends. * Organized with exceptional attention to detail. * Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Motivated by long-term career growth rather than short-term comfort. Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, Accounting or related field. * 1-4 years of experience in commercial real estate, investment banking, finance, brokerage, underwriting or a related analytical role. * Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. * Financial modeling experience preferred. * Knowledge of ARGUS is a plus. * Real estate license (or ability to obtain).
