In this role, you'll serve as an important link between patients, providers, and insurance companies—helping ensure patients receive the care they need without unnecessary delays. What You'll Do * Verify insurance eligibility and benefits * Obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies * Coordinate incoming and outgoing patient referrals * Schedule appointments and pre-register patients * Communicate with patients regarding appointments, preparation instructions, and financial responsibility * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation * Work closely with physicians, therapists, insurance carriers, and clinical staff to coordinate care * Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy What We're Looking For Required * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum of two years of healthcare office experience * Strong computer and organizational skills * Excellent communication and customer service abilities Preferred * Bachelor's degree * Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations * Knowledge of CPT coding, medical terminology, and Medicare reimbursement guidelines Why Ashe Memorial Hospital?
