ROLE SCOPE * Own the BOMs for modular designs: complete, structured, and costed from concept through release. * Build the estimating engine: costs by assembly and configuration that quote a unit in hours, not weeks. * Keep design and BOM in lockstep: every revision reconciled, every delta explained. * Feed procurement and finance: quantities and costs they can order and budget against. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would. * You've built and managed engineering BOMs for complex products or construction. * You've estimated at both speed and rigor, and tracked estimate against actual. * You structure data properly: parents, children, and effectivity done right. * You reconcile relentlessly across CAD, ERP, and reality. * You automate takeoffs and rollups rather than grinding them. * Bonus: PLM and ERP systems.
