We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Analyst/Developer to join our team and support smarter, data-driven decisions across the organization. Position Summary As a Business Analyst at Cherokee Brick Company, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business operations and technology. Focusing on optimizing processes, reporting, and systems to enhance decision-making. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, technical fluency, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights and tools. Key Responsibilities The Business Analyst/Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including operations, sales, finance, and IT—to understand business needs, identify process improvements, and translate requirements into effective technical solutions. This role involves analyzing data, designing reports and dashboards using SQL (preferably in a DB2 environment), and supporting system integrations using JavaScript or JSON. The analyst will also be responsible for documenting workflows, facilitating clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy, and providing training and support for users across the organization. Required Qualifications * Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role. * Strong interpersonal and people skills; able to collaborate across departments and levels. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Proficiency in SQL; experience with IBM DB2 is strongly preferred. * Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript and/or working with JSON data. * Solid understanding of data structures, reporting, and business process flows. * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in manufacturing or logistics environments. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office * Understanding of lean or continuous improvement principles.
