Position Details * Position: Certified Midwife  * Department: Ashe Women & Children's Health * Reports To: Practice Manager / Supervising Physician * Status: Full-Time | Exempt * Location: On-site in Jefferson, NC * Compensation: Pay commensurate with experience Position Summary The Certified Midwife provides comprehensive women’s healthcare services including prenatal, postpartum, gynecologic, and preventative care while supporting continuity of care between patient visits. This position works collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care for women across the lifespan. The ideal candidate is compassionate, clinically confident, and committed to providing exceptional care to women, infants, and families in both routine and emergent situations.
