Position Overview — Certified Welding Inspector We’re seeking AWS Certified Welding Inspectors (CWIs) to support our growing pipeline of infrastructure and structural projects. In this role, you'll perform inspections across NY/NJ job sites and contribute to the ongoing development of welding quality assurance processes at AEIS. What You’ll Do Quality Assurance & Inspection * Perform visual and destructive weld inspections to ensure compliance with AWS D1.1/D1.5, ASME, and DOT standards. * Monitor welding operations and ensure procedures and personnel are qualified. * Identify and document weld defects and non-conformities. * Conduct MT and UT inspections where certified. Documentation & Reporting  * Maintain accurate inspection records and generate professional reports using our proprietary software, designed to report welding and NDT inspections. * Verify and review WPSs, PQRs, and Welder Certifications. * Contribute to quality documentation systems.
