Commercial Construction Electrician Job Summary: The Commercial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings and facilities. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical code compliance, blueprints, and job safety standards. Key Responsibilities: * Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in commercial buildings. * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems. * Ensure electrical systems comply with all relevant codes and safety standards (NEC, local, and state regulations). * Plan and install electrical panels, conduit, switches, receptacles, lighting, and other electrical components. * Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform preventive maintenance as required. * Collaborate with project managers, foremen, apprentices, and other trades to ensure efficient workflow. * Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition. * Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications: * Strong knowledge of electrical theory, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and standard industry practices. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
