Position Summary The Community Outreach Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting Centria’s growth by managing and nurturing referral relationships in new and existing markets. This is a unique opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively, providing essential support to our field sales team and acting as the primary point of contact in developing markets. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The below reflects the essential functions considered necessary for this role and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements inherent in the job or assigned by supervisory personnel. In Markets with a Client Relations Director (CRD): * Collaborate and Strategize: Participate in weekly one-on-one meetings with the assigned CRD to discuss goals, strategies, and account progress. * Scheduling and Logistics: Assist the CRD in scheduling meetings with difficult-to-reach or remote accounts and schedule external evaluations with families and providers. * Account Management: * Maintain regular, proactive contact with referral sources through monthly updates and strategic touchpoints between CRD visits. * Create detailed account updates and reports for the CRD to use during meetings. * Event Support: Research and identify community events for the CRD to attend and provide logistical support for any events hosted by the CRD. 2. In Markets without a Community Relations Director (CRD): * Market Development: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential referral sources, analyze the competitive landscape, and understand the unique needs and challenges of the market. * Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for the market, representing Centria Autism Services to potential and existing referral partners. * Scheduling: Proactively schedule meetings with high-priority accounts, including hospital systems and key referral sources. * External Evaluations: Schedule external evaluations for all new referrals in the market. RATE $55,000 to $65,000 plus bonus opportunity QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience WORK EXPERIENCE 2+ years of sales and/or ABA experience EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS * Working knowledge of laptop/desktop PC * Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) * Proficiency in G Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Google Meet) OTHER COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS * Ability to follow written instructions * Ability to use computers and computer/software programs * Ability to communicate expressively and receptively KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS * Proficiency in PC software, especially spreadsheet programs; * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with internal and external stakeholders; * Ability to build rapport with referral sources * Ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple tasks, adhere to established deadlines, and produce work that consistently meets or exceeds team benchmarks; * Proven adaptability with a willingness to work both collaboratively and individually to achieve desired business outcomes; * Excellent interpersonal and listening skills; * Experience analyzing and summarizing data clearly and concisely; * Demonstrated strong work ethic with attention to detail, accuracy, and quality; * Established track record of generating new business. WORKING CONDITIONS * Centria's office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM. * Additional time or occasional shift in schedule may be required to complete the above work or meet company objectives. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, physical requirements such as bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds may be required. This role will require sitting most of the day as well as walking and standing periodically. This role may require close visual acuity on computer screens or monitors and the ability to analyze data and figures on a screen.
