American Auto Compliance Administrator Job Title:  Compliance Administrator Location: Metro Denver, CO American Automation Services - Company Overview: American Automation Services is a leading provider of security and event staff in both the protection of critical assets, providing safety, and customer support.   We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and the Compliance Administrator position is key to our team to meet this requirement. Position Summary: The Compliance Administrator will ensure all our operations comply with regulatory and contract standards, including:   -Required Company Licenses 1. City and County of Denver Security License – Annually May 2. City of Colorado Springs Security License – Annually August -Required Employee Licenses 1. City and County of Denver Security Guard License -Completion of FBI Background Checks 1. Security Guards -Completion of CBI Background Check 1. All employees -Completion of DEN Badging -New Company Certifications and Renewal Certifications 1. MWBE/DBE/ACDBE City and Denver – August 2. City of SLC/UT ( New) 3. City of Phoenix ( New) 4. City of LA ( New) 5. City of Atlanta ( New) 6. City of Grand Rapids, MI (new) 7. New Mexico ( New) 8. RTD ( January) Review of Employee Concentra physical information -Completion of I9/E Verify documentation -Support Response to RFPs -Support review of client contracts and ensure compliance -Development and maintenance of Company Insurance Policies  Renewal in August -Assist where needed in identifying key vendors in the execution of our compliance duties – such as Insurance Brokers, Agents, etc. -Assist as needed in the review of internal documents such as the employee handbook.   This role involves monitoring and managing regulatory risks, maintaining compliance documentation, and leading training sessions to keep our team informed of regulatory changes as applicable. The position requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the regulatory environment within the security industry. Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance: - Ensure compliance with all external regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal policies. - Develop, implement, and maintain policies, standards, and procedures to comply with applicable regulations. - Conduct regular internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance and manage regulatory risk. - Act as the liaison between the company and regulatory bodies, handling inspections, audits, and other regulatory interactions. - Maintain open communication with relevant decision-makers and stakeholders about regulatory changes. Risk Management: - Identify and manage regulatory risks in collaboration with management and staff. - Develop contingency plans to handle potential compliance breaches. - Conduct root cause analysis of compliance incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Training and Development: - Organize and conduct regular training sessions to communicate key regulatory changes and updates to employees. - Provide guidance and support on regulatory matters to ensure employees understand and adhere to compliance requirements. Documentation and Reporting: - Support in the preparation and manage regulatory documentation such as Safety summaries ( AIA) - Maintain detailed documentation of compliance activities, including audits, risk assessments, and training sessions. - Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required. - Keep abreast of regulatory developments and update company policies accordingly. Leadership: - Lead the compliance efforts, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement. - Work effectively with other departments to ensure regulatory compliance throughout product development and commercialization. - Communicate with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and other stakeholders regarding compliance issues and regulatory updates. - Promote ethical behavior and decision-making across the organization. Other duties as assigned Education Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree: Minimum requirement in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.  Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), ISO 13485 Lead Auditor Certification, and Certified Regulatory Affairs Professional (RAPS). Qualifications:  Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the fragrance, cosmetics, or a related industry.  Proven record in managing compliance programs and leading audits  Experience in dealing with regulatory bodies and understanding of the regulatory environment specific to the fragrance industry.  Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proven ability to manage compliance programs and lead audits. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.29 hr. - $26.00 hr. Benefits: * After completion of 90 Day probationary period   401(k)   Dental insurance   Health/Vision insurance   Paid time off – 48 hours after one year of service Paid Holidays including MLK Day, Memorial Day, July 4th,     Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years    Daily 8-hour shift; Typically, 8 am – 5 pm with required breaks/lunch; Other various hours as required Remote Work Performance * The company will provide a computer and any related equipment. * The company will provide the required office supplies. * The company will provide business cards and cell phone access.
