Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.  What you'll do:  * Develop the onboard perception stack, fusing camera, lidar, and radar data for object detection, tracking, and precision landing capabilities  * Design and implement deep-learning and classical computer vision algorithms for real-time, embedded deployment  * Perform sensor calibration and multi-sensor fusion across camera, lidar, and radar  * Optimize perception algorithms for real-time performance on embedded compute * Analyze test data to characterize and improve perception performance * Collaborate with navigation, controls, and hardware teams to integrate perception outputs into the broader system  What you need:  * Strong background in computer vision and/or machine learning, with a degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience  * Proficiency in C++ and Python * Experience with deep-learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorRT) and classical CV (OpenCV) * Experience processing lidar and/or radar point-cloud data * Experience with sensor calibration and multi-sensor fusion * Demonstrated ability to take algorithms from concept through real-time, embedded deployment Bonus Qualifications:  * Experience deploying perception models on NVIDIA Jetson / CUDA-based embedded platforms * Experience with precision or automated landing systems * Background in subscale aircraft, robotics, or vehicle perception Archer is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to job applicants with physical or mental disabilities, and those with sincerely held religious beliefs.
