Access Community Care (ACC) is hiring compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)/Personal Support Workers (PSWs) supporting adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in the SE, NE and surrounding areas in Portland. No experience? No problem. We provide paid training and ongoing support to help you succeed. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in healthcare, caregiving, behavioral health, social services, psychology, education, or anyone passionate about helping others live independently and thrive in their communities. Schedule & Work Environment * Full-time and part-time positions available * Day, evening, and weekend shifts may be available * Community-based/mobile work environment throughout the west side Portland metro area * Consistent hours based on participant needs Qualifications * Must be at least 18 years old * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required * Willingness to transport participants in your personal vehicle * High school diploma or GED preferred * Ability to pass a background check * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Basic computer and documentation skills * Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude No Experience Required Many successful DSPs come from backgrounds in: * Caregiving * Retail or customer service * Education * Behavioral health * CNA or healthcare support * Hospitality or human services If you have a heart for helping others, we can teach you the rest.
