We're changing the game for restaurateurs, whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant, all the way through to your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.    Why This Role is Different This isn’t a typical handyman job bouncing between unrelated work orders. * Work on modern, standardized commercial kitchen facilities * Consistent environments → faster repairs, less guesswork * Mix of hands-on repairs + preventative maintenance + facility support * Independent work with support from experienced teams when needed * Clear path to grow into Senior Technician or Facilities Management roles * Be part of a fast-growing operation supporting a massive, evolving industry   What You’ll Do Facilities Maintenance & Repairs * Perform general repairs across multiple sites, including: * Drywall, patching, and painting * Tiling and basic masonry * Shelving and equipment installation * Floor repairs and upkeep * Exterior maintenance (roofs, gutters, landscaping) Preventative Maintenance * Conduct routine maintenance on building systems: * HVAC * Plumbing * Electrical * Identify issues early and prevent costly breakdowns Site Operations Support * Travel between multiple sites(number of sites vary by region) throughout the week across the Chicago area * Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day facility issues * Partner with internal teams to keep kitchens fully operational What Your Week Looks Like * 60% hands-on repairs and maintenance * 25% preventative maintenance * 15% inspections, troubleshooting, and support   What We’re Looking For Required * 2+ years of handyman, maintenance, or facilities experience * Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based role * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred * 3+ years of commercial facilities maintenance experience * Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or multi-site environments * HVAC/R experience or trade school background Work Environment & Schedule * Field-based role across the Greater Chicago Area * Local travel between sites (home daily) * Monday–Friday schedule * On-call rotation and overtime opportunities   Why join us  * Demand for online food delivery is growing really fast!
