Bitcoin.com is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Finance Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting and financial operations during a 6-month contract period. As one of the world's leading crypto content and onboarding platforms with a global audience, Bitcoin.com needs a finance function that moves with the same speed, accuracy, and ambition as the rest of the business. As Finance Manager, you will own the integrity of our accounting function across multiple regions, lead a growing team of accounts assistants, and drive the controls, processes, and reporting that keep the company running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of operational excellence, financial discipline, and process improvement, helping Bitcoin.com maintain a strong financial backbone in a fast-moving, distributed, crypto-native environment.  Responsibilities & Core Competencies Accounting Operations & Month-End Close * Oversee the day-to-day accounting function, including bookkeeping, AP, AR across multiple regions. * Ensure month-end close is completed accurately and on time, including review of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. * Maintain schedules of balances for key balance sheet accounts and ensure ongoing accuracy. Compliance & Controls * Identify and submit statutory returns and filings across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring full regulatory compliance. * Enforce company-wide accounting policies, internal controls, and segregation of duties. * Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed. Process Improvement * Simplify existing workflows and design new processes to streamline accounting operations. * Leverage automation and AI tools to improve the speed, quality, and reliability of close, reconciliation, and reporting activities. Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration * Provide accurate, timely management reporting and balance sheet analysis to the Director of Finance and leadership. * Collaborate with Payroll, Operations, Compliance, and Product teams to support cross-functional financial workflows. * Help shape and execute financial process improvements tied to company-wide initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in a finance or accounting management role. * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, month-end close, and multi-region statutory reporting. * Hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero). * High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work on own initiative in an ambiguous environment. * Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, with experience using modern AI tools to improve finance workflows. * Strong command of English, both written and verbal. Nice to Have * Qualified ACCA, CPA, CIMA (or comparable accounting qualification). * Existing knowledge of US GAAP. * Experience rolling out new accounting or ERP software. * Background in crypto, blockchain, or fintech industries. * Experience working in a remote, distributed, global team setup.
