ABOUT THE ROLE Base Power Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Management Associate to own the day-to-day operations of our vehicle fleet. This role handles the administrative, compliance, and vendor coordination work that keeps our fleet running safely, legally, and efficiently.   What You’ll Do * Maintain accurate fleet records including vehicles, maintenance schedules, compliance documentation, and checkout forms * Monitor weekly driver inspection reports, ensure they're completed on time, and follow up on findings * Review PM schedules, create work orders, and coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors to minimize downtime * Manage insurance claims from first notice through resolution, coordinating with providers and repair shops * Track fleet damage incidents and compile regular fleet reports * Monitor fuel card activity for alerts and policy violations; process fuel card and toll bill payments on schedule * Maintain registration records, coordinate driver inspections required for renewals, and order and install license plates, toll tags, and telematics devices as needed * Review telematics data in Samsara to identify policy violations (speeding, mobile phone use, etc.), assign coaching sessions, and track completion   What You'll Bring * 2+ years in fleet administration, logistics, or operations coordination * Experience with a fleet management system — Fleetio and Samsara preferred * Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple vendors and deadlines simultaneously * Comfortable with bill payment, invoice reconciliation, and financial recordkeeping * Familiarity with state vehicle registration processes and insurance claim coordination * Prior work with fuel card programs (WEX, Fuelman, or similar) is a plus * Knowledge of DOT inspection requirements is a plus   About the Team Field Operations is Base Power’s boots on the ground, acting as the driving force behind our physical footprint and real-world execution.
