The Forklift Operator will be responsible for performing various duties in the warehouse in a fast-paced lean environment to include: receiving and put-away of all inbound receipts, shipping, and picking of products to support Plant operations. Maintain inventory accuracy. Monitor coolers/freezer temperatures. Responsible for keeping warehouse area organized. Must have stand-up forklift and RF scan gun experience.     Available shift 1st shift: Monday - Thursday 4am - 2:30pm.   POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO * Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight using appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by hand as needed * Must be able to operate stand up forklift * Utilize mobile handheld devices for tracking shipments * Safely climb in and out of trailers * Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently) * Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, rope) * Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time on a loading dock that has potential to be below freezing and may become slippery * Safely reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties * Verify and complete required documentation and reports * Adhere to company safety policies * Frequent contact with co-workers and supervisors; fast-paced and deadline oriented * Safely work in cold weather conditions REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * 2-4 years' prior forklift experience * Stand up forklift experience * Must be at least 18 years of age * Must be able to speak/read/write in English fluently * Good basic math skills PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE *  High School Diploma or GED PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms * Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen * Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch * Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds * Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus * Able to perform repetitive movements * Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot) Company Overview   Mom’s Meals is a home-delivered meal service providing fully prepared, refrigerated meal solutions direct to homes nationwide since 1999.
