You'll build and execute a content strategy from scratch, with the opportunity to showcase our vision, establish our point of view, and inspire action with our story. You're a fantastic storyteller who can captivate audiences, educate buyers, and create experiences that drive outcomes. You're a tastemaker with a finger on the pulse of what makes brands great and a perspective on how B2B content should evolve. You'll build the program that helps Basis show up wherever our buyers are learning: search engines, AI answer engines, blogs, resource hubs, campaign channels, media surfaces, and social distribution. You'll shape the story that shows prospects and customers how we're transforming accounting teams from processors to advisors. This role carries two connected mandates: building durable organic and GEO authority that compounds over time, and creating full-funnel campaigns and enablement assets that give our enterprise sales team leverage to close complex deals. You'll flex between both depending on where the business needs you most. This is a job where you wear many hats, grow quickly, and make a big impact: get creative, stay organized, take projects from inception to completion, and ruthlessly prioritize. Move between setting strategy and being close to the keyboard – writing, editing, publishing, optimizing, and distributing high-quality content yourself. You'll own the operating system for content production at Basis: editorial standards, content briefs, and AI-enabled processes that increase output without sacrificing quality. You'll run it end to end, writing with taste and measuring what works, while partnering closely with sales to convert that authority into enterprise pipeline. 📍 Location: NYC, Flatiron office.
