This role will require you to work on both internal and customer-facing systems, including our AI-enabled support portal that serves customers across the globe. You will design, build, and maintain full stack JavaScript applications — from responsive React front ends to Node.js APIs — while contributing to the CI/CD pipelines and AWS infrastructure that support them. You will work closely with product, design, and QA to deliver reliable, well-tested features.  Key Responsibilities  * Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using React and TypeScript  * Develop and maintain Node.js backend services and RESTful APIs  * Design and optimise database schemas and queries (SQL and/or NoSQL)  * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, build, and deployment  * Deploy, configure, and manage application infrastructure on AWS  * Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following engineering best practices  * Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features  * Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning  * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the stack, including in production  * Produce clear technical documentation for APIs, services, and deployment processes  * Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing  Required Skills & Experience  * 5+ years of professional full stack JavaScript development experience  * Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript  * Hands-on experience with React, including hooks, context, and component architecture  * Solid Node.js backend development experience  * Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs  * Practical experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)  * Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)  * Working knowledge of AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)  * Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows  * Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals: testing, debugging, and performance optimisation  Desirable Skills  * Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)  * Familiarity with GraphQL  * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)  * Exposure to microservices architecture  * Agile / Scrum experience  * AWS certification (e.g. Solutions Architect, Developer Associate)  Why join us?
