About the role: Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a hands-on role in strengthening the day-to-day financial controls that sit at the heart of our lending operations. As a Graduate Accountant in our Finance team, you will gain exposure across financial operations and control, including: * Financial Operations & Control: * assist with daily and month-end reconciliations across our cash, trust, ledger, and loan-book controls. * support cash flow analysis, loan account monitoring, and investigation of reconciliation exceptions. * Regulatory Reporting: * assist with the preparation and quality review of data supporting our regulatory reporting obligations. * Audit: * assist with year-end procedures and control reviews, ensuring timely compliance and accuracy. * Other: * gain ad hoc exposure across other areas within the finance function, including taxation, corporate finance & FP&A, etc. * Process Improvement: * contribute to review and improvement of existing checks and processes, including assisting with the creation of new tools and processes. You have: * Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field. * Be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident when you apply. * You're an intellectually curious, ambitious self-starter with a growth mindset.
