Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential. The Head of Accounting & Finance will oversee all accounting functions, financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls for a our client, a growing manufacturing company in Gwinnett County. This role partners closely with operations and executive leadership to drive profitability, improve processes, and ensure financial accuracy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, AR/AP, payroll, and fixed assets * Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes * Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP * Manage cost accounting functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation * Partner with operations to analyze production costs, margins, and efficiency metrics * Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models * Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations * Coordinate audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors * Drive process improvements and ERP system optimization * Supervise and mentor accounting staff QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field  * Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment   #GHJSS #LI-SV1
