Under the supervision and direction of the Campus Leadership, the Certified Special Education Teacher will effectively manage a caseload of students while preparing lesson plans, instructing students, evaluating and monitoring students’ performance, and advancing student achievement in the environment. The Certified Special Education Teacher should have experience differentiating instruction for a variety of learners and will work collaboratively with a team to plan and support instruction in accordance with students’ IEP goals. Teachers in this role should demonstrate a commitment to professional development through didactic workshops and classroom coaching. Candidates should have a passion for students on the spectrum and a willingness to be trained and coached in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies.   The Certified Special Education Teacher will support a caseload of students and work on a team to implement a best-practice educational model to achieve optimal results for students on the autism spectrum and students with other related disorders at our Tucson Campus.
