Inspection Technician Position Summary The Inspection Technician has the most important responsibility of ensuring all systems are ready to pass inspections; this includes walking City/County officials through a recently installed and ready-to-go solar system, and fixing any issues that may arise during the inspections!  Here at Better Earth, the Inspection Technicians are the anchor of a successful install. Responsibilities: * Communicate with inspectors to ensure efficient installation * Communicate with with coordinators/ managers  * Solve any issues that may arise regarding code and installs (this requires electrical knowledge on how to fix said issues) * Examples * Breaker swaps * Grounding/bonding * Tie-ins * Wire management * Set up and tie off ladders for the city/county inspectors * Help county/city inspectors with accessibility problems * Coordinate and perform pre-inspection and on-site problem solving to ensure compliance with policy Qualifications: * Some electrical background * Strong communication skills with multiple parties utilizing technology * Strong analytical, creative, problem solving, and interpersonal/human relations skills * Comfortable being and working on roofs * Work well with others that are on your work team * Must have a valid state driver's license * Must have a clean driving record * Comfort with using technology (computer, phone, email, etc.) Requirements: * Must be 21 years of age or older * Must have a clean and valid driving record * Must be comfortable working on roofs * MUST have some electrical background Full Benefits Package * Health Insurance * Dental  * Vision Full Time $22 - $25/hr depending on experience (FULL TIME HOURS)  Hourly - Nonexempt
