It makes a difference!   What you will do: * Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Kotlin. * Implement new features based on business and technical requirements. * Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices. * Participate in code reviews and contribute to code quality and development standards. * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and non-production issues. * Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems. * Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions. * Monitor application performance and contribute to system reliability, scalability, and observability. * Support continuous improvement initiatives related to architecture, development processes, and operational excellence. We are looking for people with: * Intermediate English skills. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields. * Experience developing backend applications using Java and/or Kotlin. * Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Clean Code,SOLID principles, and software design patterns. * Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem. * Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. * Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts. * Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server. * Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ. * Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. * Knowledge of unit and integration testing practices and frameworks. * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. * Understanding of observability concepts, including logging, monitoring, and metrics. Nice to have: * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. * Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis. * Experience with event-driven architectures. * Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.). * Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus. * Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
