Our Mumbai internship offers hands-on experience working with client teams on research, media monitoring, stakeholder analysis, communications planning, digital strategy and client engagement. The internship is designed as a six-month programme, and candidates should be available to commit to the full duration.  There is the opportunity for the internship to be extended, with high-performing interns potentially progressing into a full-time Executive role with Brunswick’s India team. About the role As an intern, you will support client teams across a range of assignments, including: * Conducting industry, company, competitor and stakeholder research to support client engagements and new business opportunities * Monitoring media, policy and digital conversations, and analysing developments shaping corporate reputation, public discourse and stakeholder expectations * Preparing reports, briefings and intelligence materials on key themes, narratives, market developments and emerging risks and opportunities * Supporting research on current affairs, business leaders, prospective clients and issues affecting clients across sectors * Assisting with client materials, presentations, stakeholder mapping, campaign planning and communications strategy development * Supporting issues and crisis response efforts through rapid research, fact-finding and narrative analysis * Supporting external client events, including investor luncheons and media conferences, and contributing to broader client engagement activities * Gaining exposure to how Brunswick develops advice for clients across corporate communications, digital strategy, social media, SEO, AI and reputation management What we are looking for We are looking for candidates who bring: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, alongside exceptional research, analytical and synthesis skills * A strong academic background and an interest in strategic communications, corporate affairs, business, media, public policy, markets and current affairs * The ability to analyse complex information, identify key insights and communicate them clearly, concisely and accurately * Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and the ability to recognise nuance in complex issues and stakeholder dynamics * An interest in corporate reputation, stakeholder engagement, issues management and the factors shaping public discourse * Understanding of corporate, financial and macroeconomic concepts, and an interest in how organisations navigate business and reputational challenges * Strong digital literacy and an interest in the role of AI, social media and emerging technologies in business and communications * A collaborative mindset, positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities * Brings a positive attitude and sense of humour, contributing to a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team environment. * Respect for diverse perspectives and working styles, alongside composure, good judgement and a sense of humour under pressure * Availability to commit to the full six-month internship programme and to work from our Mumbai office as part of an in-person team environment What you can expect The internship is designed to provide rigorous, practical and well-rounded exposure to advisory work.
