ABOUT THE ROLE We are hiring an Senior Internal Auditor for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and operational processes across the organization. This role conducts audits and compliance reviews to identify risks, control gaps, inefficiencies, and potential fraud, while ensuring adherence to company policies and governance standards. Collaborates with stakeholders to recommend improvements, monitor corrective actions, and support the continuous enhancement of business processes, compliance frameworks, and overall operational effectiveness. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Conduct internal audits across various business functions to evaluate operational efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness of internal controls. * Review financial transactions, operational processes, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, legitimacy, and adherence to company policies. * Identify and assess risks, control weaknesses, process gaps, and potential fraud indicators, while providing recommendations for improvement. * Perform audit testing, process walkthroughs, and compliance reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of internal procedures and governance standards. * Prepare audit findings, reports, and documentation, including recommendations and corrective action plans for management review. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to follow up on audit findings and ensure timely resolution and implementation of corrective actions. * Support the continuous improvement of internal control frameworks, risk management practices, audit methodologies, and overall business processes. REQUIREMENTS * Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in audit with at least 2 years of internal audit experience. * Strong understanding of payments, invoices, approvals, vendor management, and basic accounting principles. * High attention to detail with strong analytical and investigative skills. * Ability to review and challenge transactions objectively and professionally. * Comfortable working with spreadsheets, audit trackers, and finance systems. * Exposure to fraud detection, duplicate payment identification, or vendor audits is an advantage. * Familiar with approval matrices, segregation of duties, and finance SOPs.
