This professional will play a key role in establishing and maintaining governance processes, managing metadata, supporting data quality initiatives, and acting as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure data is properly documented, trusted, and aligned with governance standards. RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage metadata requests and maintain data documentation and catalog information. * Act as a business and governance analyst for data-related initiatives. * Partner with data owners and business stakeholders to define and document data ownership and accountability. * Ensure adherence to data governance policies, standards, and best practices. * Identify data issues and coordinate resolution through the appropriate governance processes. * Profile datasets and create basic data quality checks and controls. * Support data-related requests and promote data usability and trust across the organization. * Collaborate with technical and business teams to improve data governance processes and standards. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Proven experience in Data Governance, Data Stewardship, or Data Management roles. * Strong understanding of: * Data Governance frameworks and practices * Metadata management * Data Quality principles and controls * Data ownership and data lifecycle management * Data contracts and governance policies * Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts, including data ingestion processes and ETL/ELT. * Experience or familiarity with Databricks environments. * Understanding of programming logic and basic knowledge of Python. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Advanced English (C1 or above), with excellent verbal and written communication skills ( mandatory ) WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Strong sense of ownership and accountability. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to navigate complex enterprise environments and work across multiple teams. * Collaborative mindset with strong adaptability and resilience. * Ability to translate business requirements into governance processes and standards.
