SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER 📍 Location: Cubao, Quezon City (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite) 🕒 Schedule: Dayshift ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong back-end foundation and solid front-end development experience to join our growing engineering team. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable back-end services and microservices. * Build and enhance front-end applications using modern frameworks to deliver seamless user experiences. * Optimize system performance, scalability, and security across the application stack. * Contribute to data engineering initiatives, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data modeling. * Prototype and evaluate emerging technologies and AI-assisted development tools. * Participate in architecture discussions and help drive technical decisions. * Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance. * Champion engineering best practices, including clean code, automated testing, and CI/CD. * Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Data Engineers, and global stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. * Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies as business needs evolve. ---------------------------------------- WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * At least 5 years of software engineering experience. * Strong back-end development experience using Python (preferred), Java, C#, or Node.js. * Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices. * Strong knowledge of system design, software architecture, and database management. * Experience working with column-oriented databases, such as HBase or ClickHouse. * Hands-on experience with containerized architectures, particularly Kubernetes. (Docker experience alone is not sufficient.) * Solid experience with at least one modern front-end framework such as: * React * Vue.js * Next.js * Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases. * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Understanding of CI/CD practices and modern software development workflows. * Experience working in Agile development environments. * Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
