BGE goes beyond competitive benefits to attract and retain the best in an environment that inspires excellence.     Job Responsibilities: * Assist Party Chief as directed to conduct boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients * Performs a variety of routine tasks which provide familiarity with equipment, terminology, and operating procedures * Cut brush and hammer iron and wood stakes * Abide by safety requirements * Performs routine work which does not require previous experience * Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: * Previous Land Survey experience required * Willingness and ability to cut brush and hammer iron and wood stakes * Willingness and ability to follow safety requirements * Willingness and ability to learn traffic control and safety procedures for a variety of surveying and construction operations * Ability and willingness to learn proper procedures for the care, cleaning, and use of a variety of surveying tools and electronic equipment, including the tribrach and tripod * Ability and willingness to lift 50 lbs, to work outside for 8-10 hours a day, and to walk 2 miles. * Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and others.   Some of our Benefits: * 401k Match: 100% up to 4% of your contributions with immediate vesting + 3% Safe Harbor Contribution with immediate vesting * Merit-Based Bonus Compensation * Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; BGE contributes to HSA on eligible plans * 9 paid Holidays, including 3 Floating holidays * Personal Time Allowances  * 2 to 4 weeks of Vacation, depending on experience-level.
