About the team and position As a Manager, Product Design, you lead multiple Product Designers and initiatives across complex product areas, operating at a platform and organizational scale. This is a senior people-leadership role responsible for elevating design quality, scaling design impact, and developing high-performing design teams that deliver measurable business and user outcomes. You balance strategic vision with operational excellence — shaping design strategy, influencing cross-functional priorities, and ensuring cohesive, high-quality experiences across Carvana’s ecosystem. You are deeply embedded with product, engineering, and business leadership, and you advocate relentlessly for user-centered, system-level thinking. You are comfortable operating with urgency, navigating ambiguity, and making high-stakes decisions. You set a high bar for yourself and others, and you lead with clarity, empathy, and accountability.
