Based in Barcelona, you will be the on-the-ground RS&O partner for our fast-growing Spain & Southern Europe business, while contributing to go-to-market projects across EMEA. You will identify high-impact, cross-functional priorities and both build the commercial infrastructure and drive the strategy to deliver against them. Success in this role means EMEA successfully delivers against its commercial growth ambition and makes the strategic moves now to ensure sustainable growth for the future. This is a hands-on, blended role: Strategic Revenue Operations (AI tooling, best in class territories, insight driven performance tracking, inbound sales optimisation), Direct support to the Spain commercial teams, and EMEA-wide strategic initiatives and projects. You will work as part of a lean, data-driven world-class team and interact with stakeholders across the business - including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, Engineering, Compliance and Legal across EMEA and globally. What You'll Do... * Own Strategic Revenue Operations for Spain: Build and run the operational backbone for the Spain commercial teams including performance tracking, territory development and management, fit-for-purpose sales tooling and Inbound sales optimisation * Partner with leadership as the expert local strategist: Act as a strategic thought partner to commercial leaders, provide weekly performance and forecasting support, run country QBRs and help drive local improvements * Drive Revenue Strategy initiatives across EMEA: Lead GTM and expansion projects, including product-market-fit assessment, product-localisation strategy, competitor battlecards, win-rate analysis and vertical experimentation. * Align cross-functional stakeholders: Act as the trusted business partner across Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Compliance and Legal - locally in Spain and across EMEA and global teams - to align on priorities, drive decisions, and achieve cohesive revenue performance * Raise the bar with AI: Leverage AI-driven tools and automation to streamline commercial workflows and reporting What You Bring... * You’re success-oriented with a bias for action, holding yourself accountable for getting things done and driving tangible outcomes * You bring strong operational rigour - you enjoy owning processes end-to-end, building scalable systems and tooling, and are detail-oriented about data quality and hygiene * You’re an analytical, strategic thinker who has the ability to simplify and communicate even the most complex problems * You collaborate seamlessly across functions and cultures, excelling at influencing without authority and building trust with senior stakeholders * You operate with a team-first, low-ego approach, bringing intellectual honesty to your work and focusing on how we win as a group What You Have... * 5+ years of work experience, ideally with a mix of top-tier strategy consulting and/or high-growth startups, with meaningful time focused on commercial strategy/ops * Strong analytical skills, including data modelling and working with data reporting tools * An outstanding record of academic achievement * Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills * Demonstrated ability to speak, read, write, and understand Spanish at a native or near-native level * Experience in high-growth fintech, financial services, or technology environments is a strong advantage, particularly if you have prior exposure to complex, cross-functional commercial operations and scaling go-to-market processes At Airwallex you’ll have the ability to make an impact in a rapidly growing, global fintech.
