Civil Science is currently seeking a qualified Materials Testing Technician to join our team supporting roadway and transportation construction projects throughout western North Dakota. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and success of our construction materials and roadway projects. This is a seasonal / temporary position based out of our Williston or Dickinson, ND offices. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Perform construction materials testing in the field and/or laboratory * Inspect and test soils, aggregates, asphalt, and concrete materials * Document and communicate test results accurately * Support roadway and transportation construction projects * Work collaboratively with project managers, contractors, and engineering staff * Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards QUALIFICATIONS * Prior experience with construction materials testing in either a field or lab setting * Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds * Valid driver’s license PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preference will be given to candidates with: * ACI Level I Certification * Highway testing experience and certifications such as: * Soils Field Tester * Aggregate Sampler * Asphalt Pavement Inspector * Other related certifications * Previous experience working on NDDOT projects     Why Join Civil Science? * Ownership in Your Future: At Civil Science, we’re proud to be a 100% employee-owned firm.
