This position is unionized under Unifor Local 975. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assistance on meter installation inspections for all meters used by Metergy * Meter programming assistance for all meters used by Metergy * Meter commissioning for all thermal, water and electrical meters that do not fall under S-E-04 used by Metergy * All Meter communication wiring including but limited to Phone/Ethernet, RS-485, low voltage cable installation and termination * Assembly of metering and all related equipment to support installations and operations * Installation of metering related equipment to support installations and operations * Warehouse support including deliveries and inventory counts. Items not to exceed comfortable lifting weight to individual (Union and non-Union workers to complete counts) * Investigating and resolve communication issues and clerical issues * Test Current Transformer cable assemblies * Splice Current Transformer cable harnesses * Work with Measurement Canada and other governing entities * Administrative work as required by the role * Building Status updates – In addition to completing scheduled work at a Job site.
