Position Overview: **This is not a remote role, it is Hybrid, Regina, SK, Canada with an 8/3 Start Date** We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Architect to lead the design, configuration, implementation, migration, and ongoing optimization of the full M365 suite. This senior role serves as the primary technical authority for M365 and Azure initiatives, driving architectural decisions aligned to organizational objectives, Zero Trust security principles, and compliance requirements. Responsibilities: Architecture & Design * Lead end-to-end M365 solution architecture including system architecture documentation, integration design, and system security architecture aligned to Zero Trust principles. * Design and implement solutions across the full M365 suite: Intune, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 Apps, and Microsoft Purview. * Architect identity, device, and data protection controls using Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and Purview in hybrid and cloud-native environments.   Security, Compliance & Data Governance * Design and implement sensitivity label frameworks, DLP policies, retention configurations, and alerting workflows within Microsoft Purview. * Enforce Zero Trust architecture across identity, device, and data planes; conduct security assessments and drive remediation of compliance gaps.   Migration Planning & Execution * Lead tenant-to-tenant migrations including pre-migration assessments, migration planning, execution, and post-migration validation across mail, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive workloads. * Develop detailed migration runbooks, cutover plans, and rollback procedures to ensure data integrity and continuity of service.   Implementation & DevOps * Configure and deploy M365 workloads and manage Intune device compliance, configuration profiles, and MAM policies. * Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for M365 configuration automation, change management, and deployment workflows.   Collaboration & Governance * Work with cross-functional technical teams to deliver integrated solutions; act as technical advisor and primary escalation point for M365 platform issues. * Develop and enforce M365 governance frameworks, platform documentation, naming standards, and lifecycle management policies.   Qualifications: * 7-10+ years of expert-level hands-on M365 specialist experience in designing, implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting Intune, Office, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Purview * Advanced knowledge of the full M365 suite and Microsoft Azure platform, including hybrid infrastructure scenarios and Azure DevOps. * Deep expertise in Microsoft Purview (sensitivity labels, DLP, eDiscovery, retention), Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365. * Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Graph API, and Power Automate for M365 automation and reporting. * Strong ability to produce formal system architecture and security architecture documentation for complex, regulated environments. * Demonstrated experience with tenant-to-tenant migrations, sensitivity label configuration (Purview), Zero Trust architecture, and Azure DevOps. * Experience in Government/Crown Corporation, Utility, or other highly regulated environments is an asset. Nuclear industry experience is a strong asset. * Post-secondary education in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical discipline. * Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert — Required * TOGAF 9 or 10 Certified — Required * ITIL Foundation or higher — Required * Azure Security Engineer — Desired but not required Arctiq is an equal opportunity employer.
