JOB OVERVIEW Compound Planning, a leading fintech investment advisory firm, is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our operations team. The Operations Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations, supporting both client services and internal processes. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for financial services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist in the processing of client transactions, including account openings, transfers, and withdrawals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. * Support the reconciliation of client accounts and investment transactions to maintain accurate records. * Partner closely with Wealth Management Associates and Operational Associates to unblock work and reduce operational friction for advisors and clients. * Maintain and update internal databases and systems to ensure accurate and timely information flow. * Conduct regular audits of operational processes to identify areas for improvement and enhance efficiency. * Maintain accurate documentation and updates in internal systems and tracking tools. * Prepare and generate reports on operational metrics, client activity, and performance. * Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. * Support the onboarding of new clients and investment products by coordinating with various departments. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices. * Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred. * Previous experience in operations or administration, preferably within the financial services industry. * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. * Proficient in Google Suite; experience with investment management software is a plus. * Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. * Knowledge of investment products and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
