LPA is seeking a Plumbing Designer to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. As a member of our MEP+L Systems Engineering team, you will work on a broad range of projects from office, education and recreation buildings to complex laboratories, health care facilities, and performing arts centers. What You Will Do: * Collaborate in LPA’s integrated, multidisciplinary design process alongside engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders. * Support Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers in the delivery of building design projects from concept through construction. * Prepare engineering calculations, analyses, and documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documents. * Assist with the selection and specification of equipment, systems, and products appropriate to each project. * Review, process, and respond to construction administration documents, including RFIs and submittals. * Participate in construction meetings and conduct field visits to support project execution and quality assurance. What We're Looking For: Required: * 0–5 years of experience in the design of plumbing and/or fire protection systems. * Demonstrated enthusiasm for a collaborative, multidisciplinary design process. * Curious, open-minded, and eager to learn. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. * Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
