THE OPPORTUNITY As a Product Manager for AI Products, you'll own the product execution and stakeholder coordination for Parspec's AI-powered capabilities, from intelligent document ingestion and search to AI-driven product matching, classification, and agentic workflows. You'll work closely with our India- and US-based teams to translate product strategy and requirements into actionable AI engineering work plans that deliver real customer value. This is a hands-on PM role that requires you to own product requirements end to end, from definition to the translation into shipped AI features. You’ll be going deep with AI engineers to understand model capabilities and limitations and identify cross-team dependencies. You'll be the bridge between product strategy and AI engineering execution, and the person accountable for making sure it ships.   This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru. WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Own product execution for AI-powered features, you are the person responsible for translating product direction into engineering-ready requirements and driving delivery. * Write and maintain PRDs for AI product workstreams, define scope, requirements, edge cases, and acceptance criteria that engineering can build against. * Go deep in technical conversations with AI/ML engineers, understand model architectures, data pipelines, and capability tradeoffs well enough to make informed product decisions. * Drive cross-functional coordination across AI engineering, platform engineering, product, and design, owning timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment. * Define success metrics for AI features, accuracy, latency, adoption, user trust — and drive measurement and iteration. * Own sprint-level execution, grooming, planning, unblockers, QA/UAT, for AI product workstreams. * Manage stakeholder communication across functions and teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, progress, and tradeoffs. WHO YOU ARE We're looking for candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have but are not mandatory. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field (CS, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent) * 3+ years of product management experience, with at least 1 year working on AI/ML-powered products. * Experience writing PRDs and product specifications for technical/AI products. * Ability to engage deeply with AI/ML engineers on technical concepts, model performance, data quality, pipeline architecture, accuracy/recall tradeoffs, prompt engineering. * Proven ability to translate product ideas into structured execution plans that engineering teams can build against. * Experience driving cross-functional coordination across engineering, design, and stakeholders, owning timelines, dependencies, and delivery. * Experience with product execution in agile teams, sprint planning, grooming, backlog management, QA cycles. * Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to align teams across time zones on priorities and progress. * Self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and effective in distributed/async environments. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Familiarity with AI tooling and developer workflows (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Copilot, Bolt, v0), both as a user and in understanding how they integrate into product development. * Experience with B2B enterprise products, particularly in complex data-heavy domains (procurement, supply chain, construction tech, marketplace platforms). * Familiarity with AI infrastructure concepts, embeddings, vector search, document parsing, classification models, RAG architectures. * Experience defining AI product metrics (accuracy, confidence thresholds, user trust signals) and driving iteration based on data.
