AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Position Overview  We are seeking a quality technician for second shift Key Responsibilities: * Perform visual and/or microscopic inspection of solder joints on PCBs (through-hole and SMD). * Verify product compliance according to standards such as IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, or other applicable norms. * Identify soldering defects (bridging, insufficient solder, cold joints, etc.) and document non-conformities. * Conduct basic functionality and electrical testing of electronic assemblies. * Quality checks following Work Instructions. * NCR reporting. Qualifications Quality experience in manufacturing environments Education:   Technical degree or vocational training in Electronics, Quality, or a related field Experience: A minimum of 3 years in quality department Preferred Qualifications: * IPC-A-610 * No Conformity report * Analytical mindset * Problem solving Soft Skills: * Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inspections and reporting * Analytical mindset with strong problem solving skills * Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a manufacturing environment * Proactive and hands on approach to tasks * Good communication skills to report non conformities clearly and effectively Technology Stack: * Microsoft (excel, word etc) Physical Requirements * Attention to Detail * Teamwork * Proactivity             This job description may not be inclusive to the duties and responsibilities listed.
