This is a wakeful shift—you must remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift to ensure safety and comfort. Shift Details * Hours: NOCS 11:00 PM to 8:00 or 9:00 AM * Location: Santa Barbara, CA * Client Needs: Gentle assistance, medication reminders, mobility support, and overnight monitoring Ideal Candidate * Has experience with Parkinson’s or similar conditions * Is calm, patient, and observant * Can stay awake and engaged throughout the night * Communicates clearly and professionally Responsibilities: * Punctual arrival to assigned shifts, and timely response to communications * Accurate time keeping via secure website * Adhere to clients plan of care and BrightStar Care Core Values * Document tasks and complete written summary of your client’s condition, electronically * Prompt reporting of falls, emergencies, etc. * Maintain client privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines   Requirements: * of hands-on care experience, including toileting, and personal hygiene * Must be 18yrs of age or older * Ability to read, write and speak English fluently * Valid Driver’s License and Insured, Reliable vehicle * Willingness and ability to register with the Home Care Aid Registry * Approved Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), or the ability to complete registration prior to hire. * Approved Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), or the ability to complete registration prior to hire.
