This is an advanced installer position that requires prior solar installation experience, strong verbal communication, organization, and leadership skills. JOB DUTIES: * Assisting Crew Lead in plan review * Ability to perform installs from conduit to roof * Ability to run through electrical wires * Installing DC and AC equipment per plans and local codes Commissions PV systems safely * Assisting Crew Lead to keep installers on task * Assisting with system designs and procurement for residential systems * Performing other duties as assigned by the Crew Lead and/or Regional Operations Manager (ROM) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCY: * Knowledge of local electrical codes * Knowledge of residential PV design and components * Knowledge of basic trades: roofing, carpentry, plumbing, and metal framing * Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring schematics, and electrical instructions * Ability to make field changes and communicate with Project Manager * Ability to test voltages from 10V – 1000VDC / 120V – 480VAC * Ability to receive and distribute instructions * Ability to communicate problems to Project Manager * Ability to drive a truck and trailer safely EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * Valid Apprentice Electrical License required  * Valid CO Driver’s License required  * Valid OSHA 10 required; (OSHA 30 preferred)  * 2-3 years of solar installation experience required * Ability to be a leader * Electrical experience strongly recommended * Prior experience as a crew lead strongly preferred  PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to withstand heights, be on roofs and climb ladders  * Ability to lift 50+ lbs.  * Ability to bend, stretch, squat and lift.  * Ability to work in 100+ degree weather  We understand you may be a great candidate without fitting all our preferred experience, knowledge, skills, and attributes.
