Security Project Manager Location: Washington, DC  TS/SCI REQUIRED/Current CI Poly   Responsibilities: * Serves as the alternate contact for all security related matters regarding the MILCON program.  * Assist the Lead Security Embed with overseeing the management of construction security operations. * Assist in developing, modifying, implementing and storing the Construction Security Plans (CSP) per each project. * Coordinate any security related changes to SEC and MILCON leadership prior to implementation. * Review’s, design/construction drawings, RFI’s, submittals, and any project/contract related changes and provides security guidance and recommendations. * Serves as the programs Site Security Manager (SSM) and identifies and reports on any security related violations and deviations from the CSP. * Assist in managing the construction security contracts, and report on program/project related updates. * Assist with the approval of Personal Equipment Devices (PED). * Assist with site and campus related access for the general/sub-contractors. * Attend and participate in all project/program related meetings and engagements when required. * Brief leadership and counterparts on all security related information and updates when applicable. Qualifications: * Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph * Associate’s degree and 7+ years of experience managing complex projects * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Microsoft Project * Proficiency with developing project management plans, leading multi-discipline teams of architects and engineers from a variety of organizations, and monitoring/reporting project status * Highly skilled in customer service and diverse stakeholder engagement * Competent in reading and understanding construction drawings/specifications and knowledgeable in standard construction industry practices Desired: * ICD 705 * Experience with new building construction
