Your mission As our Senior Accountant, you will own the full-cycle accounting of Daos Hub’s fast-scaling, cross-border operations. You aren’t just entering data; you are bringing order to a dynamic ecosystem, ensuring strict UAE tax compliance, managing complex multi-currency/crypto cash flows, and setting up scalable financial processes. YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS: IMPACT ROADMAP 0–30 Days Deep dive into Daos Hub’s financial landscape, current tools, and corporate structures. Take over international payments and day-to-day banking operations. 31–60 Days Fully own the month-end closing process, intercompany reconciliations. Ensure 100% compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements. 61–90 Days Maintain seamless execution of all daily accounting, tax, and cross-functional team workflows to ensure ongoing operational stability. Identify minor operational bottlenecks and implement step-by-step enhancements to documentation and internal controls for maximum data accuracy. HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE Maintain complete, accurate, and timely records in Xero/ERP systems in strict compliance with IFRS and company policies. Manage full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements, prepare FTA tax returns, and handle bank communication. Process and monitor local and international payments through multiple banking platforms, payment systems, and corporate card management systems. Perform complex bank, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliations; oversee cash flow fulfillment and reporting Track and control fixed assets introduction and depreciation; manage Jira end-to-end payment requests; check and process team business trip reports. Process payroll and employee-related entries; support and guide the team on financial matters; assist with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. WHAT YOU BRING 4-7+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting, reporting, or financial controlling. Strong, hands-on knowledge of international tax landscapes and cross-border compliance (multi-country VAT/sales tax regulations, transfer pricing basics, and local corporate tax standards). Experience navigating global financial regulations and managing entity reporting across multiple jurisdictions is highly preferred. Deep understanding of IFRS. Advanced proficiency in Xero (or QuickBooks/Zoho) and Excel/Google Sheets. Experience managing workflows in Jira is highly preferred. Exceptional attention to detail, a high degree of self-organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
