MAKE AN IMPACT Job Description: You’ll design, build, execute, and continuously improve automated tests to ensure our software is reliable, secure, and performs as intended. You’ll work closely with engineers and product partners to prevent defects early, strengthen engineering quality, and help teams ship with confidence. Key responsibilities -  ✅ Data Engineering & Development • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines • Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers • Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and partitioning • Work with structured and semi-structured data ✅ Data Warehousing & Modeling • Build and maintain data warehouse/data mart structures • Implement data models (star schema, snowflake schema) • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency ✅ Cloud & GCP (Nice-to-Have / Preferred) • Work with GCP services such as: o BigQuery (data warehouse) o Cloud Storage o Dataflow / Dataproc o Pub/Sub • Migrate on-premise data pipelines to cloud (if applicable) ✅ Data Pipeline & Integration • Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, flat files) • Build batch and (preferably) near real-time pipelines • Work with ETL tools or build custom pipelines  ✅ Collaboration & Delivery • Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Product teams • Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions • Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation   Required Skills (Primary) 🟢 Core SQL / PL-SQL Expertise • Strong hands-on experience in: o Advanced SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs, aggregations) o PL/SQL programming (procedures, packages, cursors) • Experience with databases like: o Oracle / SQL Server / PostgreSQL / MySQL 🟢 Data Engineering Fundamentals • Strong understanding of: o ETL/ELT frameworks o Data warehousing concepts o Data modeling techniques • Experience handling large datasets,     Preferred / Secondary Skills 🔵 GCP Ecosystem • Experience with: o BigQuery o Cloud Composer (Airflow) o Dataflow / Apache Beam • Understanding of distributed processing 🔵 Additional Skills • Programming: Python / Shell scripting • Tools: Airflow, Informatica, Talend, dbt • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines • Exposure to Apache Spark / Hadoop ecosystem
