Why Is This Role Important? Reporting to the Director of Finance, with accountability to the Chief Financial Officer, you’ll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in translating business decisions into financial results for our Senior Management and investors through delivering timely and accurate reporting and providing analytical support.  What You’ll Do: * Lead preparation and review monthly consolidated management financial reports and follow up on key issues identified. * Monitor internal controls and recommend process improvements. * Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure proactive timely resolution of all co-worker inquiries. * Develop new analysis and KPI’s to enhance the understanding of company performance yielding new insights. * Prepare quarterly financial statements reports, analysis and presentations to senior executives, external lenders, and Board members. * Work with departmental leads to continuously improve operational and accounting processes for improved timeliness and accuracy. * Monitoring cash flow movement, completing regular cash flow forecasting and initiating the transfer of funds. * Mentor, coach and supervise junior staff * Perform special projects and ad hoc reporting as required. What You’ll Need: * Customer focused, interpersonal and negotiating skills to engage departmental leads and staff; * Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role dealing with senior individuals of both a financial and non-financial nature; * CPA (CA, CMA or CGA) designation required; * University degree in Business, Finance, or Commerce; * Extensive knowledge of the IFRS principles, consolidation methods, financial analysis; * Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization; * Excellent team player as well as the ability to work independently; * Positive attitude, approachable and self-motivated; * Experience in Real Estate is an asset; and * Experience with Yardi property management systems is an asset.   Centurion is an inclusive and equal opportunity Employer committed to creating a positive, supportive and inclusive environment for all Employees.
