Bumble Inc. is seeking a Senior PR Manager to lead product and technology communications across Bumble and BFF, helping shape the narrative around the future of connection, community, and innovation. This is a highly strategic role responsible for driving visibility and impact for some of the company’s most important product launches, technology advancements, AI innovations, and executive thought leadership initiatives. As a key member of the Communications team, you will partner closely with cross functional teams execute integrated communications strategies that strengthen Bumble’s reputation as a category-defining technology company, accelerate product adoption, and influence conversations across media, culture, and the industry. The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller, strategic thinker, and trusted advisor who thrives at the intersection of technology, consumer behavior, and culture. This role reports to the VP of Communications. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES END-TO-END PRODUCT COMMUNICATIONS * Contribute to the development of the communications strategy for Bumble Inc.’s product and technology portfolio, driving narrative development and execution across product tests, feature releases, and innovation milestones. * Partner closely with Product teams to identify, shape, and amplify compelling stories that strengthen Bumble’s product positioning and drive cultural relevance. * Translate complex product innovation and technical advancements into clear, compelling narratives for members, media and industry stakeholders. * Lead global communications planning and alignment across regional teams to ensure consistent messaging and execution across key markets. * Manage agency partners and external vendors, ensuring best-in-class execution and creativity. EXECUTIVE THOUGHT LEADERSHIP * Work alongside the Corporate Affairs team to develop and execute executive communications strategies that elevate Bumble’s product and technology leaders as influential voices across innovation, AI, consumer technology, online connection, and the future of relationships. * Partner directly with senior executives, including the Chief Product & Technology Officer, to shape speaking opportunities, media engagements, and industry visibility. * Build and maintain a proactive pipeline of high-impact media, conference, podcast, and industry opportunities that strengthen executive visibility and Bumble’s corporate reputation. AI, INNOVATION & CATEGORY LEADERSHIP * Help establish Bumble as a leading voice at the intersection of AI, technology, trust, safety, and human connection through proactive storytelling and strategic communications initiatives. * Monitor emerging technology, AI, consumer behavior, and cultural trends to identify opportunities for Bumble to lead industry conversations and shape public discourse. * Oversee the creation and amplification of proprietary research, insights, and data-driven narratives that generate earned media, influence industry conversations, and support business objectives. * Partner with internal teams to uncover unique product, behavioral, and consumer insights that can be translated into compelling media stories and thought leadership opportunities. ABOUT YOU 5-7 years of communications experience, with a strong track record leading high-impact product launches and integrated campaigns for consumer technology brands or apps. Advanced AI fluency - independently leveraging AI tools to enhance research, monitoring, drafting, and insight generation while applying strong ethical judgment and protecting sensitive information. Proven success securing top-tier media coverage, executive visibility opportunities, and high-profile conference and speaking engagements. Deep understanding of the evolving media landscape, with the agility to identify and leverage emerging platforms, formats, and cultural conversations. Global mindset with a nuanced understanding of international media, consumer behavior, and cultural trends. Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive alignment across cross-functional teams. Demonstrated experience partnering effectively with product, marketing, legal, policy, and executive leadership teams. Results-oriented communicator with a strong focus on KPIs, performance measurement, and data-driven decision making.
